Still a set-up episode but mostly focused on the side characters. It’s quite refreshing to see less of how overpowered Tatsuya is and to also see how much more we can learn about the side characters.

WATCH, But only if you're invested in the setup, it's slow, talky, and the action is minimal. The pieces are being set, the chess board is arranged, and the storm is about to hit. The payoff is coming, just don't expect fireworks yet.

We don't get to see much of Tatsuya here but now that his friends got a taste of being targeted, everyone realized they can't keep relying on him and went their separate ways for a little bit to improve themselves. Nice expansion on the relationship between side-characters too.
