This episode is the BEST of the season so far. The fight is gorgeous, the flashback adds genuine emotional weight, the tonal whiplash is real, and the show's "Tatsuya is amazing" worship is as heavy handed as ever, but when the payoff is this satisfying, it's easy to forgive.

We start to see people behind the shadows and rivaling school becoming aware of Tatsuya capabilities, this anime uses a lot of foreshadowing to advance it's plot so you may feel tempted to skip an episode but each of them do contain crucial information to understand it's nuances.
