There's a lot of fighting scenes in this episode and we can see the amount of power the enemy holds. The impact of losing someone due to a mission can be devastating and wishing to find the murderer is understandable. It's a pretty chilling episode!

The characters' combat skills are honestly amazing, both for their raw power and their unique traits. Plus, the secrets surrounding the clan families are genuinely chilling. While the pacing has slowed down, the plot is becoming really interesting.

The action in Nara is intense. The confrontation between modern magic and the mysterious art of the traditionalists is truly moving. Feel the weight of Tatsuy'as mission as the true motives of the enemies are revealed. An action-packed episode full of suspense.

Episode Context

Sitting at episode 11 of 13, this installment deepens the groundwork laid in Ancient City Insurrection Parts I and II, where the Thesis Competition was introduced and initial preparations took shape. The episode functions as the calm-before-the-storm phase, positioning all key players in Kyoto and establishing the defensive framework before Part IV puts those plans under real pressure. With only two episodes remaining, the season is clearly accelerating toward a climactic confrontation tied to the competition.
