The Invisible Man and His Soon-to-Be Wife
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Pair a woman who can't see with a man no one else can see, and you've got the detective agency at the heart of this show. That premise alone should tell you whether this is your kind of show. Shizuka Yakou can't see anything, and her boss Akira Tounome can literally vanish from sight, which makes him perfect for investigative work but completely undetectable to everyone around him. Everyone except Shizuka, whose other senses let her pinpoint exactly where he is, invisible or not. There's something genuinely sweet about that dynamic: the one person in the world who can always find you is the one who can't see you at all. The 12-episode TV series from Project No.9 leans into a slow-burn workplace romance wrapped in urban fantasy cases, with a small but charming supporting cast including an energetic journalist and a detail-oriented colleague rounding out the agency. The whole thing is adapted from a web manga, and the tone is warm and romantic without rushing anything: it's more about two people gradually realizing what they mean to each other through quiet moments and shared work. If you liked the earnest, awkward romance of Train Man or the way Wandering Son handles identity and perception, this hits a similar nerve but with a fantasy twist. It's a cozy watch about connection that goes deeper than what you can physically see, and honestly, the detective agency setting keeps things from ever feeling too precious.

The final episode was good with lots of surprises and perfect pacing. Also, I liked this animation style more. Overall, it's a 10 out of 10 anime, and I can't wait for Season 2!
Honestly, this episode exceede all my expectations! And All her cute, nervous expressions are the highlight of this episode, also a very well-directed,
I can't wait to see how cool and interesting Tounome's village and home gonna be . Also Why they didn't showed us pic or videos from Shizuka Yakou's childhood, that would be more cute.. 😩
This episode was so cute! It really showed how perfect they are for each other. Also, the explanations for the haunted mysteries were enjoyable 🤣
10 of of 10 episodes, it has really a good pacing, not like other animes to drag the story to the end, it's feel natural and enjoyable episode
The action scene are peak! And it's Crazy how a romance story has got better fight animation and frames than opm s3. Also their relationship is progressing (the right way), unlike most romance that drag it until last episode. It's really enjoyable..
It was funny how Karma found out about Light's pregnancy; regardless, the story progression was amazing. And it's really fun to watch,
It's a good and enjoyable episode to watch with some cliffhanger about dark elf and his wife, I don't know what his wife said to him over the phone, but I can guess what this about maybe.. 👀
The backstory with Daichi and his partner was cute as hell. This whole anime is just cute as hell. And this is so wholesome like actual romance instead of some harem shit really love this anime
This is a very cute series! Perfect pacing, good animation, not boring at all, every single episode was Dimond so far.. 😌
I loved that The White Elf being married to a Dark Elf was such a great reveal, I seriously couldn't stop laughing! And It was also just super sweet to see Tounome ask for Yakou to be his girlfriend like that.. Such a solid and wholesome episode,
This is nice, interesting and wholesome anime at the same time, the most compatible partner for an invisible person is someone who doesn’t use their eyes at all. Rather than blindness being a handicap, it’s a gift; it allows for highly developed senses that can finally 'see' our mc with a clarity no sighted person could achieve. It’s an unexpectedly lovely match up..
best anime ever made
A big day for both couples, Tounome & Yakou and Karma & Light. It doesn't go out with a bang so if you want explosive finales, wrong show. But it closes the loop on every thread it set up and leaves you genuinely warm. Quiet, earned, and honest. That's this whole show. <3
The best episode of the season no question. The art shift is jarring at first then you realize it's intentional, Yakou's anxiety is literally drawn differently. The Masashi parallel with Tounome is beautifully written. TwT
Tounome meeting Yakou's dad is tense, the man sat him down and made him watch a long hour family video. That alone is iconic. But the real gut punch is Futa, Yakou's brother, who straight up can't trust someone he can't see. That conflict is actually deep. xD
Hot springs episode but make it detective work. Tounome and Yakou get roped into investigating at the inn just so they can afford the room. It's low stakes and cozy but exactly the kind of breather a 12 ep run needs mid-season. Cute filler done right. <3
Yakou feeling childish compared to Tounome is painfully relatable ngl. Karma's visit adds a little flavor but honestly this episode is quieter the emotional work is subtle. Not the flashiest ep but necessary. You appreciate it more on rewatch. <3
Nobody expected this show to have an actually clean fight scene, Jarashi went off and the animation flexed harder than it had any right to. It shifts the vibe a bit, but honestly it's a great showcase. Jarashi supremacy confirmed! <3
Karma and Light's backstory hits way harder than expected. The elf lore is actually fascinating and the emotional core is genuinely mature writing. Jarashi's body image moment is real too. This show's got layers bro. <3
