EPISODE REVIEWS

the Beit episode and honestly one of the most charming standalone episodes in the whole series. Watanabe Minori, Takajo Kyoji, and Pierre helping out a local shopping district with their festival preparations is exactly the kind of low-stakes warmth that SideM does really well. Pierre in particular steals the episode — his earnest goodwill and slight language barrier create comedy that never feels mean-spirited, just genuinely sweet. the "something happens to Pierre" tease in the episode description sounds more dramatic than it actually is which is very much on brand for this show's gentle register. Beit as a unit has great energy — the contrast between Kyoji's serious exterior and the warmth he clearly has underneath, balanced by Minori's easygoing openness and Pierre's guileless enthusiasm, makes them instantly likeable. a feel-good episode done right.

After our previous Dramatic Stars-centric ep, we get a focus on Beit on this one!! Kyouji, Minori, and Pierre~ These three nice guys are so different from our previous ep’s trio LOL. The premise of this ep is not as unique as the last one (imo), but it’s still a good way to let us know more about Beit, especially Kyouji… so it’s alright ig 😅

It so much fun when they are in Amusement Park as they enjoy and having fun for a day before the concert begin. The pacing of this episode was simple but everything was fun.
