Wow, this penultimate episode really goes heavy on the drama 😭 We finally get the full picture of Kaoru’s backstory on why he’s the way he is 🥺💔 Kaoru’s grounded pragmatism is really at odds with the idealistic vibes of idol anime 😔… I like the practical dialogue and intriguing conflict in this episode!

the penultimate episode and the most dramatically tense of the whole run. Kaoru acting on his own and the ripple effect it sends through 315 Production is compelling precisely because the show has spent 11 episodes making you care about these people. what could feel like manufactured drama in a lesser show lands here because the motivation makes complete sense for his character — he's not being reckless or selfish, he's being true to something that defines him, and watching the rest of the agency grapple with how to respond to that is genuinely good writing. the Producer's role this episode is also at its best — not commanding but understanding, not solving but supporting. the concert is one day away and everything feels appropriately charged.

The characters has a little bit of misunderstanding in some things but they have a serious and amazing dance rehearsal.
