Oh, another HighxJoker focus, and a cultural festival theme… it’s a bit of a stereotypical high school story premise, isn’t it? 😂 The events of this episode are very SOL-like and it has lots of lighthearted energy, though there is a little bit of drama ig. Overall, an okay ep where people familiar with the usual story beats of idol genre basically know what to expect lol

High x Joker get their second spotlight episode and the cultural festival versus work conflict is a classic setup but the show handles it with more nuance than you'd expect. these are high school students who chose to become idols while still being students — the collision of those two worlds was always going to happen eventually and the episode takes it seriously rather than resolving it too easily. the internal disagreement within the group about what to prioritize feels real and the resolution earns its warmth because it comes from the characters themselves rather than being handed to them. the actual cultural festival scenes are funny and sweet and the eventual decision the group makes about their work commitment says something true about who they are as people.

At the very start up to now the Boy band still their youth and charming style. They actually very accountable in their doings.
