Synopsis
Youto Yokodera wants to be seen in a way different from most men: as a pervert. However, his lewd actions are often misinterpreted as good intentions, and people cannot see his true nature. Upon hearing rumors of a cat statue that can banish an unwanted trait, he searches for it and prays for his façade to be removed. But each wish comes at a price: those unwelcomed traits are transferred to someone else who desires them! After realizing that vocalizing his dirty thoughts is not the best thing, Youto decides to regain his lost traits by seeking out the person who received them. Unfortunately, he was not alone in praying to the cat statue, and now he must not only fix his life, but the lives of others as well.

This is my favourite anime. I adore the art style and the wish system, and how chaotic it is. The overall show reflects how people need to be careful what they wish for, and I found that a very nice message.
The beginning is a bit rough, and this isn't usually my preferred genre, but I found the writing in this anime to be surprisingly good. The writer knew exactly when to slip in light-hearted jokes and when to draw viewers in through strong dialogue and well-paced storytelling. The series explores a range of themes, including grief, loneliness, and coming of age. Most of the characters are high school students who are experiencing a whirlwind of emotions, but at their core, they all share the same desire: to belong and to feel a little less alone as they navigate their lives.
Wow wow 10/10 not the ending I was expecting. What a full circle moment. It truly was all leading up to this.
I liked this episode, it gave a lot of perspective to why the Tsutsukakushi sisters have this deep longing for community and unhealthy attachments. I had a lot of questions as to how did they end up living alone. Loved the pace and the emotions this episode evokes.
Shoo, this cat god is something else, always causing a bit of destruction. I liked this episode, it there wasn't much going on so as a viewer, I could focus on the dialogue. I love how the story almost leads you to the plot twist and leaves you wanting more.
Meskipun begitu, aku tetap berhasil dibuat penasaran sih.
Haha! Emi, is such a fire cracker it's hard not to like her, there is something about her character that gives so much life to the story. I think a big part of it is the mystery behind her sudden appearance . Loved the humor in this episode, I found myself chuckling every other minute.
A nice breather from the intensity of the last episode, it came with a new character that is mischievous and this made it a fun watch. I'm starting to feel like all the character go out of their way to misunderstand Youto by misinterpreting his actions. I appreciated the slowness of this episode and the dialogues between the characters.
KASIAN BANGET AZUSA AAAAA 😭
I was tense the entire episode, waiting for the wish to be canceled only to find out that Tsukushi is not the culprit for this mess!! Loved the build up and the pace of this episode, it kept me captivated and eliciting so many emotions towards the characters for not doing what I thought they should do!
After the last few eps felt like a rushed, messy blur, I thought the finale was gonna be a disaster. But it actually pulled it together. The story got the breathing room it needed, and it felt genuinely sweet.
The writing tries to cram in too much lore at once. The pacing feels rushed and messy, especially with how abruptly the tone switches away from the usual pervy comedy. At least the animation is still clean.
It tones down the signature pervy jokes for way more dialogue, but the balance is spot on. Plus, they always throw in some unexpected plot shifts in between to keep you hooked.
