The amount of characters in this story is kinda crazy and that's very evident in this episode. The names are very similar as well which is quite confusing but I think this type of historical story works well like this
Once again, I felt lost while watching it because I had to focus on remembering the names and appearances of the characters mentioned. The pace can be said to be neither fast nor slow, it's just that the battle scenes are not depicted in length and detail. In this episode, it is said that Biwa's eyes have changed color, although the animation is not very obvious.
Somehow, particularly in this episode, the transitions between scenes and different events felt a bit disruptive to me. I think I would’ve liked the anime to emphasis more on the aftermath and on how people deal with things emotionally and strategically. Still, it was a decent episode to me, and the animation was great as usual.
