📖 SYNOPSIS
In the midst of Japan's feudal wars, the Awa clan faced annihilation by a rival clan aided by demonic powers. Their salvation turned into a curse when the family dog brought back the enemy warlord's head and demanded to marry the lord's daughter. This unnatural union resulted in death, but their unborn pups reincarnated as the eight Dog Warriors, the Hakkenden. These eight souls, each representing a virtue of bushido, embark on individual journeys filled with violence and the pursuit of vengeance. Eventually, they are destined to come together as a formidable group. Their ultimate goal is to confront the demons, avenge their clan's destruction, and restore honor.
