The arena atmosphere in this episode is fire. Mu Chen keeping a calm head in front of competing factions while Su Ling and Tang Qian'er backed him up made this episode super engaging.

Much of this episode focuses on Mu Chen’s intensive training and the build-up to the main conflict, so it can be quite slow-paced and feel rather dull overall. The other characters, apart from Luo Li, do not play an active part in this storyline.
