The ending is great and is still open for progression in the story. The final battle was catastrophic but still an amazing sight to behold.

Mu Chen wraping up the northern spiritual realm crisis while looking forward to his promise with Luo Li is the perfect send-off for this anime. The ending of this season handled everything so well.

The final showdown had some strong points in terms of the animation and leaves the door open for a future series. I think the anime had great potential, but there were flaws in the execution of the scenes and, at times, the dialogue was rather simplistic.
