okay so it wraps here and the resolution delivers on everything it promised ngl. the emotional payoff combined with the mystery solution lands well and kindaichi once again proves why hes the best at this. must watch great closer before the season heads into its final stretch dude fr.

This is another one-episode case, and it once again takes place during Kindaichi and Miyuki's junior high school days. The story is much heavier compared to the previous episode, but I think the ending was pretty good. There wasn't enough information for me to make a proper deduction, but my gut feeling about Mitsuyo turned out to be correct. The main issue I had was with the method used by the culprit. The solution sounds clever on paper but it becomes questionable when considering the actual mechanics of how pools work.

The misunderstanding was on the top and it’s pretty common. This is why they say that communication is the key. I feel bad for Mitsuyo though Miharu was also understandable. The end was funny and the owl’s expression was really hilarious.
