Massive loredrop of an episode lol. MC’s coming of age has allowed his ‘parents’ to reveal the truth of his and their origins. I like the worldbuilding and pacing so far, next episode boutta be intense.
Honestly, despite the limited animation this series has to offer, the excellent worldbuilding for the series is shown at its maximum in Episode 3, especially about Will, his guardians, and the gods. It's always been a main draw for the series, and it shining through this adaptation has made this watch very worthwhile.
Will in armor feels off. Will and Blood's fight is intense, but there are hiccups in the animation that make the fight a bit disappointing to watch. The choice of background music perfectly matched the scene, making it engaging. An unexpected cliffhanger at the end.
