Definitely not your generic isekai series, this one seems to honor the fantasy theme more. So far, world building and introduced characters are pretty good, still a lot of mysteries left to uncover. Overall good first episode, recommended for fantasy/adventure lovers.

As someone who has read the novel, this was a pretty good introductory episode, especially showing how Will's soul came to this other world. It was beautiful how the bonds between Will and his adoptive guardians were shown, too!
