Sitting at the close of the first quarter of a 24-episode season, Episode 7 continues the gradual deepening of Shizuku's knowledge and rivalry with Tomine that earlier episodes established. It builds directly on the wine evaluation threads from the preceding episode, shifting the focus toward the human element of winemaking, a thematic thread that will prove increasingly central to Shizuku's larger quest to identify the Twelve Apostles and the Drops of God. This episode functions as meaningful groundwork rather than a turning point, priming both the protagonist and the audience for the more consequential challenges ahead.
