Six episodes in, Shizuku's transformation from wine-indifferent outsider to reluctant but increasingly capable contender is still actively forming, making this a pivotal consolidation episode before the competition deepens. The groundwork laid in earlier episodes, the inheritance challenge, the rivalry with Issei Tomine, and the shadow of Yutaka Kanzaki's legacy, feeds directly into the stakes here. What this episode establishes will likely tighten the screws heading into the second quarter of the season, where the complexity of the Twelve Apostles trials is expected to escalate.
