Episode Context

Sitting at episode 9 of 120, this is still deep in the show's establishment phase, rotating through Kusuo's world one comedic scenario at a time. It pivots from the romantic misunderstanding comedy of episode 8, 'Reach Him! Sign of Love,' to a family-centric premise, broadening the show's comedic range before episode 10, 'Deceive! Mind Control,' escalates Kusuo's psychic ability gags further. The episode reinforces the Saiki family dynamic that will remain a recurring pillar across the entire series.
