Episode Context

Sitting at episode 72 of 120, this installment follows the class's school festival planning discussions and shifts the lens to individual preparations, specifically Reita's misguided musical ambitions. It functions as a setup piece for the broader school festival arc, establishing the chaotic energy of pre-festival activities that will escalate in subsequent episodes. The festival backdrop gives the show's rotating cast of eccentric characters fresh excuses to collide with Saiki's desire for a quiet life.
