Episode Context

Sitting at episode 40 of 120, this lands firmly in the series' rhythm of standalone comedic scenarios that deepen our understanding of Saiki's powers and his ambivalence toward them. It follows an episode centered on his mother Kurumi's gullibility, continuing the pattern of rotating focus across Saiki's personal life and relationships. The episode sets the stage for 'The Superstar Returns,' which introduces new character dynamics and escalates the ensemble comedy further.
