Episode Context

Episode 35 caps off the three-part 'Noisy New Year's' arc that began with the holiday gathering and escalated through Kusuo's mother accidentally putting his secret psychic powers at risk. With this storyline resolved, the series pivots back to school life in the following episode, 'The Scariest! Mr. Matsuzaki,' introducing a fresh comedic premise. Sitting roughly a quarter of the way through the full 120-episode run, this episode is firmly in the show's groove, self-contained arcs with light continuity that reward consistent viewing without punishing newcomers.
