EPISODE REVIEWS

Like almost all the episodes of the first season, is a compilation of fast paced small stories of the day to day of Saiki and his friends. With heavy pop cultures jokes of the world and japan. The focus this time is on one of the new friends of the group, Toritsuka, the medium.

Episode Context

Sitting at episode 20 of 120, this installment is firmly in the show's early stretch of establishing its ensemble cast and their recurring dynamics. It follows 'Home Alone Disaster,' a Saiki-centric episode, and pivots to Chiyo's romantic subplot, a thread the series returns to periodically as a comedic fixture. The next episode, 'Escape Using an Invincible Suit of Camouflage!,' swings back to Saiki's psychic-powered attempts to avoid the social spotlight, continuing the show's rhythm of rotating between character-driven vignettes.
