Episode Context

Sitting early in the show's 120-episode run, episode 11 continues the pattern of expanding Kusuo's unwanted social circle by debuting Uryoku Chouno, a recurring character who adds a new comedic dynamic. It follows the mind-control-focused comedy of the previous episode and directly sets up episode 12, which continues Chouno's storyline with a televised second encounter. This is part of the show's first-season strategy of stacking its cast before letting ensemble chaos take over.
