Episode Context

This is the middle chapter of the 'Here Comes the Mad Scientist!' mini-arc, picking up directly from part one's setup and driving toward the conclusion in the following episode. Sitting at episode 102 of 120, the series is in its final stretch, cycling through character-driven comedy arcs without building toward a heavy overarching narrative. The mad scientist premise adds a fresh comedic foil for Kusuo while keeping the episodic structure fans expect this late in the run.
