Episode Context

Positioned roughly a third into the 26-episode run, 'Eyes' pivots from the external confrontation of Episode 8, 'Enemy,' to explore Jun Fudo's internal fragility, a critical development that deepens her characterization beyond her role as a fighter. This installment reinforces the series' core tension between humanity and the beast within, laying essential psychological groundwork before Episode 10, 'Flames,' escalates by weaving those personal fears back into physical danger.
