Episode Context

Coming off Episode 5's reunion with a high school friend, the series now turns its lens toward Jun's professional sphere, broadening the scope of her increasingly fractured life. At the quarter-mark of a 26-episode run, this installment deepens the show's exploration of Jun's dual existence by introducing a significant new character in Hitomi Konno. The rivalry and personal dynamics established here lay groundwork for relationship threads that will complicate Jun's journey through the season's middle stretch.
