Now THIS is the episode I was hoping for😭🫶🏻 seeing Emi and Maou together again and Emi struggling to have her act together is GOLD. Plus, the little scenes where Shiro was worried about their spendings was also hilarious. The enemies to lovers is doing its thing here and I really do hope we get more of these kinds of chill but satisfying episode✨ (and notice how there’s not too much Chiho in this one? Exactly. HAHA)
So far the writing has great character banter. The pacing is slow, visually, it looks good, and the soundtrack fits the cozy mood perfectly. There is low emotional impact, but it's a comfy watch.
This episode made Maou, Emi and Alas Ramus look like a real family, I can't help but wonder if Emi would develop her feeling for Maou further. In my opinion, this "family dynamic" will eventually get to Emi sooner than she realizes.
