This is it, the final episode. I’m glad it’s over. Not that I hate the anime, but at some point it became painfully boring and unamusing to me . I couldn’t find a male character that I truly liked, while among the female characters, I liked Suzuno and Amane the most. Some people really dislike Chiho, but to me she’s quite a normal girl. That being said, I feel like the story never gave Maou enough space to truly hone his skills and powers, what he achieved felt like 50% support and 50% luck. Overall, the animation and soundtrack were decent, the plot was average, but there were still enjoyable comedic moments. I just hope I’ll spend my precious time more wisely next time.
The finale fight was honestly so lit. Even with all the heavy dialogue, Maou treated a massive war like just another casual day at work and it made him look insanely OP. It finally brought back that tense, fun pace from season 1.
Somehow I'm pretty content with the ending and conclusion of the season. I guess it sets well for the upcoming ones and plus that lore drop that Suzuno explained was lowkey jaw dropping. And also liking the progression between Maou and Emi!!
