The ending is okay-ish for me. I feel like the ending was pretty rushed, and I wish it had been longer. But overall, this anime is fun to watch. It doesn’t take too seriously and has more comedy, in my opinion. So, if you’re watching just for fun, then this anime suits you.

The battle scenes in this episode are quite tense and dark. How Sable, Zero and the others work together is exciting to watch. Also, the fight scenes are quite good. Furthermore, it is delightful to see how far the friendship between Sable, Holt, and Kudo has developed. Overall, this is a good final episode to close this series.

The tension surrounding the battle is intense! The power level of their abilities is super high, and I really love how creative they get at building those edge of your seat moments.

Episode Context

The season finale of Mahoutsukai Reimeiki delivers exactly what a final episode should, resolution with emotional weight. After eleven episodes of building tensions around coexistence between witches and humanity, this closer brings Sable, Roux Cristasse, Holt, and Kudd to the end of their shared journey. The pacing strikes a deliberate balance between action payoffs and quieter character moments, giving the cast room to breathe after the escalation of recent episodes. Themes of friendship, perseverance, and mutual understanding take center stage as character arcs find their conclusions. The tone shifts between heartfelt warmth and earned intensity, never rushing toward its ending. True to its title, 'The Beginning of the Adventure' frames this conclusion as a starting point rather than a stopping point, leaving the world open while still delivering satisfying closure for the season's core conflicts.
