The idea of being alone with Yamada, outside the comfortable chaos of school, feels like an 'absolute impossibility' in her mind.

At a temple, the students discover a 'Love Fulfillment Stone,' a whimsical local legend promising true love to those who walk to it blindfolded. Kento eagerly volunteers, providing a moment of lighthearted chaos as he bumps into Morimoto. Honoka and Nishimura observe from a distance, with Honoka's gaze frequently drifting to where Yamada stands. He stands with his friends, an unspoken barrier between them.

Honoka and Nishimura spot Yamada on a balcony with Suzuki, laughing easily. Honoka hesitates, caught between wanting to approach and fearing to intrude on his existing friendships. Nishimura encourages her, but the doubt still lingers. Finally, Honoka gathers her courage, calling out to Yamada with a tentative 'Yamada-kun.' Her voice is small, almost swallowed by the noise.

Yamada finds Honoka in her moment of despair, asking why she did not call out to him earlier. Caught off guard, Honoka stammers, admitting her self-consciousness about being seen with him. Yamada, understanding, then suggests they go 'somewhere with fewer people and talk quietly.' This simple, direct invitation instantly dispels Honoka's 'chaotic negative thoughts,' replacing them with a surge of hope. His straightforwardness is a balm to her overthinking.

As they walk together, Yamada shows Honoka photos of their friends, deflecting from the previous tension. But then, he turns to her with a slight blush and asks, 'Do you want to go out somewhere after the school trip?' He clarifies his meaning, suggesting a place where they will not run into schoolmates. Honoka's face lights up with utter joy, and she can only manage an excited agreement. The overwhelming emotion causes her to emit a high-pitched scream as she flees down the hall.

Still flushed with excitement, Honoka is overcome. Her earlier anxieties, once crushing, are now reinterpreted through the lens of happiness. Nishimura's previous words about honesty echo in her mind. With a soft, determined expression, Honoka finally admits to herself, 'I like him.' Meanwhile, Nishimura is seen scrolling on her phone, a relaxed and satisfied expression on her face, seemingly aware of the unfolding romance.

A brief flashback reveals Azuma's melancholy past, where school trips were endured rather than enjoyed. He recalls pretending to be fine, simply wishing for the end. The scene then shifts to the present, showing him surrounded by his laughing students at the temple. His current bright expression and heartfelt declaration of being 'truly happy' contrast sharply with his past. He finds genuine joy leading the group, a poignant personal victory.

The students are given free time on the third day. Kento initially grapples with existential thoughts of liberation versus self-awareness, only to be immediately swarmed by hungry deer. Suzuki laughs at his predicament, eating ice cream. Later, Kento finds Yamada carsick and offers his cola to Suzuki when she wishes for tea, believing it helps with motion sickness. His attempt to be helpful goes comically awry, as the cola explodes over him.

Covered in cola, Kento looks defeated. Suzuki, however, looks at him with a gentle smile, not mockery. He then quietly asks her, 'Stay with me a little longer?' Suzuki, surprised, blushes and agrees. They walk off hand-in-hand, a sweet, unexpected moment of connection. Kento subtly squeezes her hand, and Suzuki looks up at him, smiling.
