The episode begins with Mika, utterly absorbed in a 'Torture Instruments Collection' catalog. His excitement is palpable as he anticipates new devices to try, a stark contrast to the ominous nature of their work. Shuu offers a wry warning about Beru-san's likely intent to flaunt her expensive, personal favourites. Indeed, Beru-san is soon heard, ecstatically praising the 'wonderful design' of her equipment, while Mika and Hyuu listen with a mixture of shock and unease, sensing the peculiar obsession behind her generosity.

In the dimly lit 'Fourth Torture Room', the new deliveries are revealed. Mika's initial, almost childlike excitement for a device he calls 'Usagi' quickly sours as the 'Nousagi' is shown to be a terrifying spiked wheel. Shuu casually explains its gruesome function: peeling skin slowly, like a full-body grater. Later, a large metal cage is introduced, and after some explanation, Mika finds himself inside, noting its 'surprisingly comfortable' nature, which amuses Shuu and Hyuu.

As they assess the new instruments, Hyuu and Mika offer professional, almost academic, critiques. They find the large, elaborate devices interesting but impractical for daily use, better suited for 'endurance or massive damage' rather than routine. This analytical approach to horror is briefly interrupted when Sero, observing Mika still in the cage, calmly declares he thought about 'buying' him because he was 'cute.' Mika's panicked reaction is understandable, highlighting the casual cruelty that can still shock him.

With their assessment complete, Sero decides to return all the items, leaving Mika locked in the cage for tomorrow's pickup, much to Mika's continued dismay. On the phone, Sero calmly informs Beru-san that her beloved devices lack practicality. Beru-san, however, passionately defends them as 'the best interior decorations,' praising their 'cold, sharp, elegant forms' and their 'perfect' shadows, revealing a disturbing artistic appreciation for instruments of pain.

The next day, Sero appears with a bandaged head, casually dismissing Mika and Hyuu's concerns about his injuries. He nonchalantly explains he was attacked by members of an organization he had previously tortured, calling it a 'revenge visit.' He prides himself on being a 'celebrity in this industry,' even recounting how he headbutted his attacker before reporting them to the police. This bizarre tale leaves Mika declaring Sero 'too wild.'

Sero, still injured, attempts to take a support role, but soon finds himself planning next week's tortures. Shuu initially ignores him, then turns with unexpected concern for Sero's well-being. The conversation quickly escalates into an argument, with Shuu grabbing Sero's collar and accusing him of taking on a torture assignment that was originally meant for him. This confrontation reveals a deep underlying tension and care.

Shuu's anger becomes concern as he scolds Sero for always trying to 'carry everything alone,' reminding him of the many people he has to protect, including Shuu himself. Sero insists he's strong enough, but the weight of Shuu's words—and his admission that he doesn't want to be left out of Sero's circle of protection—breaks through. Sero then expresses his own frustration, insisting he wants to share the burden, placing a hand on Shuu's shoulder as he promises to prove his dedication. Shuu responds with a playful flick to Sero's forehead, acknowledging their shared understanding.

The scene shifts dramatically to a tranquil, traditional Japanese inn. Mika and Hyuu are overjoyed by the beauty of the surroundings, while Beru-san beams, proud of treating everyone for their hard work. Shuu and Sero arrive last, with Shuu sighing over losing a game to the 'Demon Couple,' resulting in Sero being tasked with entertaining the twins, Lulu-chan and Ruru-chan, at 'Rurupi Land.'

In the hot spring, Mika reflects on the strange paradox of comfort becoming torture, a thought that makes Hyuu embarrassed. Sero, ever practical, explains he avoids water torture due to the 'troublesome' negotiations and environmental concerns, leading Shuu to jokingly label 'Spirytus' an 'eco-friendly torture company.' Meanwhile, Hera-san and Noe-san, preferring privacy, enjoy a more intimate indoor bath, with Hera-san playfully washing Noe-san's back, a tender moment observed only by the viewer.

After their bath, Mika poses a long-held question: is Shuu's right eye unable to see? Shuu, surprised, confirms it is a prosthetic eye, unable to see. Both Mika and Hyuu show understanding, realizing why they never asked. Sero, drying Shuu's long hair, explains his dedication to this task, partly for efficiency, but also because he's 'grown fond' of it. Shuu calls him 'creepy' but allows it, admitting Sero does a good job.

Later that night, as the others sleep, Sero sits by the window, gazing at the moonlit mountains, wondering how long he can stay. Shuu appears, reassuring him that he can stay 'as long as he likes' because he is a 'necessary person.' He playfully adds that Sero is there to relieve his stress. Sero, initially annoyed, soon smiles, declaring his intent to work hard for the company, for society, and for Shuu, who, with a warm smile, tells him to take his time, embracing their enduring, supportive bond.
