The slower pace continues here, but this episode does a better job of giving the setting some personality. The focus on elf culture adds a bit of flavor to the world, while Noelle's uncertainty gives the story a touch of emotional grounding. Nothing spectacular, but it feels more invested in its characters than usual.

More generic elf forest hospitality content that feels like a massive chore to sit through. There are no interesting world mechanics or spell explanations to chew on, just lazy plot points moving along a conveyor belt.

I'm starting to like this anime a bit because of the Elves. But there are still hiccups I couldn't ignore. Like Noelle keeps changing her mind from staying to leaving the forest. I love seeing Philip getting along with the children from a different race.
