Not as thrilling as the episode before, but still an entertaining watch nonetheless. I was a bit disappointed to know that they didn’t lean onto the horror curse aspect from the opening scene, but I get it, it’s about dismantling horror and rumors to prove it’s the work of medicinal properties. At least it foreshadows some enemies coming its way with the secret messaging. Anyways, fun episode, MaoMao being reliable as usual helping everyone out and serving up some candy just shows how important she is in the palace. Also, who knew she was such a beauty, I thought of her as just cute, boy was I wrong, can’t wait for next episode. 8/10
