This episode feels a bit more emotional, but in a very subtle way. It doesn’t try too hard, and that’s exactly why it works. I really love how the show trusts its audience to feel things without spelling everything out. Maomao’s perspective adds so much depth. It’s quiet, but it hits. One of the peak romance scene for this season.
