Episode Context

Sitting at the exact halfway mark of the 24-episode season, 'Ka Zuigetsu' follows directly from 'The Hunt,' where Jinshi made a significant move toward revealing his identity to Maomao, and now the fallout of that decision takes center stage. This episode functions as a critical bridge, processing the weight of what came before while recalibrating the Maomao-Jinshi dynamic for everything that follows. It sets the emotional and narrative foundation for the season's back half, making it essential viewing for understanding the trajectory ahead.
