EPISODE REVIEWS

“Say goodbye to my cowardice” is an extremely fitting name for Mahiru in this episode.

Episode Context

As the twelfth and final episode, this is the payoff for an entire season of incremental emotional development between Amane and Mahiru, directly following Episode 11's deepening of their bond through shared vulnerability. Everything the series has built, the domestic routines, the slow erosion of emotional walls, the quiet moments of mutual support, converges here. The finale functions as the definitive climax of their first-season arc while leaving enough warmth and momentum to suggest the story could continue beyond this chapter.
