The ending episode is so satisfying! It showed how the characters have approached to their each goals or desires, even the god of winter.
The use of magic here is on another level! It's fun to watch a different way of casting and using of spells. At first, I thought it was quite boring but later on, it became better.
Philomela's life reflects someone's in reality and there is Chise who always tries to reach out to help. I realized and appreciate now the story of this anime and it was really good!
I thought more battles will be shown but more memories were shown to support better the story of Philomela. However, it became a bit boring already.
Knowing Philomela's past adds to the interest of the story line. Now, I think better scenes will soon be shown. As for Chise, she's really strong, thinking she has looked into a god's eyes.
It is sad to see Philomela, somehow, being used by her grandmother (If I understand it correctly) but because of her love for her parents, she has to do it.
It was Philomela all along! She's so strong after sucking all those magic from the students. Now the question is, if the remaining people, like Chise or even the principal can go up against her.
Though the flow of the story is quite slow, I think they are one by one showing what are important things to consider in looking or solving the main issue.
Though it is a bit confusing for me, the storyline is still interesting in this episode. I'm also surprised how Violet knew that the person with them is not his twin.
The story seems to shift to another issue and it made me confused. Interestingly, I like to watch it more to understand better.
I think looking for the "magic book" is the most interesting part here and from last scene, it became even more since it is just inside the College. Now, I wonder who holds it, if there is someone.
Honestly, I don't have any prior knowledge about the anime nor the first part but the magic that was displayed in this episode is on another different level compared to other magic genre - anime.
Really beautiful finale that wrapped everything up for Chise and her College friends, and also brought in new mysteries about certain people which is obviously connected to them all. Totally looking forward for this series having a Season 3.
A very chaotic episode with everything happening all at once, but the animation and directing of things are really, really good, and it's fun to see Chise, Lucy, Isaac and Philomela cooperate together and defeat the major conspirator who has been lurking since Season 2.
This episode is undoubtedly Philomela's show, and with Chise, Lucy, and Isaac being there, I'm so glad she finally breaks the chains that have been binding her ever since Season 2 started.
More memories get revealed and queestions answered especially with Zoe, the female werewolf trapped by the Sargents, Philomena, Lucy, Alcyone, a pay-off I've been waiting for since Season 2 Part 1. Not only this was a beautiful presentation of memories, everything being connected makes sense.
What a super fun episode, especially with finally describing even only the surface of the differences between sorcerers and mages, particularly of a mage of Chise's caliber. This episode also pays off emotionally showing the extent of Philomela's past.
More mysteries get solved as what Philomela has been up to has been revealed, not to mention it is exciting to see Chise being more selfish with her friends. Also the animation for this episode is just chef's kiss, and I'm pretty excited to see more later.
An old friend tries to find Chise, who in the meantime gets more mired in deeper conspiracy around the College, which particularly involves her own friends. This episode is another set-up, but it's not only well-animated, the directing makes all the conspiracies a little more sinister, which makes it more exciting to watch.
Compared to Season 1, it was actually fun to see Chise becoming the key solution to the actual troubles at the College this time, while the simmering tensions brought on by the College lockdown explodes big time, which makes this episode all the more exciting to watch.
