Synopsis

Apprentice mage Chise Hatori is invited to enroll at the College, a prestigious learning institution for sorcerers, to examine and look for a way to remove the curses she bears. Despite the reluctance of her groom, Elias Ainsworth, Chise accepts the proposal, as she believes attending the school might help her minimize her self-sacrificing tendencies. From the get-go, Chise grabs the attention of her classmates and professors alike, who have never seen a mage in action before. However, there is a sinister plot brewing behind the College's back, and the young mage will have to determine who is friend or foe in order to put a stop to it. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

It’s Chise’s first day at school. She’s eager to learn how to control her powers and finally meet others like her, but from the very first class, she realizes nothing will be as easy as she imagined. Strange things begin to unfold within the academy… are you ready to uncover them?
This ep was chaos in slow motion. I expected spooky scavenging, but got family drama, creepy reveals, and the College basically saying “lock the doors.” I felt tense the whole time. Nothing fully explodes yet—but you can feel it about to. Huge setup, absolutely worth watching.
Felt like everything quietly tightening. I thought we’d get a breather—but nah, more problems, more “don’t trust that” energy. Subtle dread, messy emotions, and way too many red flags popping up. Everyone’s being careful and it somehow makes things worse. Still watch though.
