Episode Context

Following Rimuru's reincarnation and his first alliance with the goblin village in episodes one and two, this third episode marks the first real test of that partnership and cements Rimuru's role as a nation-builder, not just an overpowered wanderer. It's a critical early-season pivot that establishes the show's core loop of diplomacy, conflict, and expansion. The events here directly set up Rimuru's journey to the Dwarf Kingdom, which drives the next stretch of episodes.
