Veldora imut banget kalo malu-malu. Duh, udah lupa serunya anime ini di episode-episode awalnya. Rimuru juga lucu banget di episode ini. Water Blade Water Blade!

This episode was a great follow-up to the first, further expanding on the system and world introduced there. The stylized animation when Rimuru talks to his skill system is always great to see. Now we are getting started on the main plot hinted at by Rimuru's actions with Veldora, which we can expect to see in later episodes. The new cast of characters is great, and hopefully, we will see more of them in the upcoming episodes. This is a great second episode.

This episode was hilarious but still gave us amazing world-building . Rimuru’s Veldora moment gave me chills, and honestly his communication skills are secretly OP too

The moment Rimuru used his skill for Veldora was a goosebumps moment. I didn't expect the scale to be like that. And the goblins' initial reactions to Rimuru makes so much more sense now

The comedic parts of this episode are hilarious and not cringey at all. I love it! The world-building is opening up some more

I'm just rewatching but omg I feel so proud of Rimuru here. On top of all the skills he's acquiring, one more unnoticed thing he has that is secretly OP is his communication skills. Ig it comes from his human experiences

Love how the episode xpands the world as Rimuru meets goblins and shows smart leadership. Less action, more strategy and worldbuilding; Rimuru starts shining! Seeing him befriend goblins was so wholesome. I loved the part when Veldora gave him a name and he started to glow.

I like how the animation turned out to be so good. It was really cool and amazing. The pacing is just right and there are new characters too.

One of the most important developments in this episode is the introduction of the naming system. By naming each other, Rimuru and Veldora become 'Named Monsters,' which significantly boosts their status and power. This eventually shifts the balance of the world as the story progresses.

The moment Rimuru realized that "naming" a monster isn't just a friendly gesture it’s a massive power-up that makes u sleep for days is awesome and seeing the transformation of weak goblins is best.

I thought Veldora will be release immediately. Now, I guess he'll stay inside Riemuru for a while. I'll miss that tsundere dragon! Great pacing as well. The story of this episode is not rushed! Great development as well. Music was not that impactful though.

I do like the mini animation for the explanation. It's very informative in a fun way. Rimuru's collecting every skill he can in the cave is witty idea. I like the pacing but the color grading isn't consistent in this episode.

The slime is still stuck in the cave. He also became friends with Veldora. The slime's name is Rimuru Tempest. He is still exploring the cave and gathering up everything in his sight. Also, he fights everything that is in his way of finding the exit.

Soul-deep Tempest names seal Rimuru-Veldora (Dragon) hype bro-pact! Predator chomps dragon for killer OP skills (water blade, poison breath oops-laughs, sticky threads, vampirism). God-tier aura stuns goblins—Direwolf beatdown locks epic loyalty. Slime power rush awaits!

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the premiere's isekai setup and ability acquisition, episode 2 pivots Rimuru from solo explorer to potential leader—a role that defines the entire first season. This is the first domino in what becomes Slime's central nation-building arc, directly setting up the goblin village defense and alliance that drives the next several episodes.
