As expected, Kai would say that. It's a tragic scene in the Lad Village. Story-building and world-building episode wherein things are getting interesting. This episode has a nice selection of background music. I'm not expecting that ending.

It is a compelling chapter that makes the world feel truly alive.

Episode Context

Sitting at the exact midpoint of the 12-episode season, 'Truthseeker' serves as a critical pivot from the action-heavy first half, directly following the intense guardian bearer confrontation in episode 6's 'Rigdaros', into what promises to be a more consequential back half. This episode grounds the emotional stakes before episode 8's 'To Ispi Rio,' where Kai and Nada face new threats while dealing with the fallout established here. It's a classic calm-before-the-storm installment that reframes everything the characters are fighting for.
