Somewhat of a filler episode, but definitely not something you can skip for various reasons. One, Masaki made an annoyingly good point at the end that I feel made something within Neko 'crack', and two, a new useful tool presented itself. I reckon it'd come in handy in the future episodes. More than that, solving the mystery was really fun, so it's definitely worth the watch.
I can't call this episode filler, not with what seems to be growing character development on the rise. This one felt more like a game of chess than the previous episodes. Having to rely to others isn't easy, and this episode quietly expresses that.
A side character-focused episode with romance this time. Masaki proves useful again. Slow pace, but the investigation is enjoyable to follow. It delivers a different ending compared to the previous episode, and it works really well.
