EPISODE CONTEXT
Episode 3 sits early in the season's pattern of expanding Tanaka's social circle one character at a time — Episode 2 brought Miyano into focus, and this entry does the same for Echizen. It's the third piece in what becomes a full ensemble cast, directly setting the stage for Episode 4's introduction of Shiraishi. At this point, the show is still building its world rather than leaning on established group dynamics, so expect foundational character work.
