The story is easy to follow so far, there are still some things that I'm curious about but I guess it will be revealed in the future episodes. This is pretty much the real starting point of Sorey's adventure and I'm pretty sure some piece of shit noble will take advantage of that to "coax" Sorey on siding with the pro-war faction. As expected from the studio, they continue to impress me with their exceptional animation. While I noticed some animation techniques they've used in their previous works, this episode shows that they've refined and improved them even further.
Despite the festive and bright look of Ladylake, a lot of sinister forces seem to lurk within it. It's an exciting episode that brings Sorey much closer to his human side of things after coming from Elysia, and the first real step towards his own dream. It'll be great to see how he handles the human world.
