Episode ini memperlihatkan Sorey yang mengalami kesulitan dalam perjalanannya menjadi Shepherd seperti di legenda. Dan determinasi dari Alisha tentang tujuannya dan dia tidak akan menyerah akan hal itu. Overall episode yang cukup menyentuh dan bikin terharu.
This is a moving episode. It highlights Sorey’s unwavering character despite being confronted with the heavy responsibility of being a Shepherd. Alisha’s words also reminded me of a memorable quote from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood regarding the Ishvalan War. What makes this episode even more spectacular is the soundtrack during their scene, as well as Ufotable’s exceptional animation styleP.S. To be honest, I was frustrated that the Scattered Bones claim to be just (see ep 3), yet their judgment is based on hearsay. They should probably add “clowns” to their job titles 😒
The episode really honed in on making things feel uneasy on Sorey as well as us. I love how it doesn't shy away from the truth of what Sorey must realize about malevolence when it deeply affects a person instead of the usual animalistic hellions. Sorey really needed that moment for himself and I can tell it'll blossom into great character development.
