Perkenalan dunia dan karakter yang bagus di episode pertama, sesuai ekspektasi dari studio ufotable. Sebelum episode ini ada episode 00 yang wajib ditonton karena disitu menjelaskan kenapa si putri bisa ada di situasi itu. Untuk anime 10 tahun yang lalu animasi nya keren abis.
Before watching this episode, it is mandatory to watch episode 0. I honestly haven't played either Berseria or Zestiria, so my review is based purely on the anime-only perspective, I would eventually edit the review once I played both the games. Even after watching this episode I'm still full of questions but the curiosity itself is what drives me to keep on watching. Aside from that I don't have any complaints on Ufotable's exceptional animation. If I'm not mistaken the segment after the ED looks like it's something from the game itself which is a nice touch.
Ufotable really did amazing on this debut episode! Everything truly feels as grand and majestic as it looks. We're given a great look at our cast, most especially Sorey and Mikleo. Sorey's chill excitement over discovering new things and him going off on things he knows is just cute imo! I like how the visuals and sound for scenes meant to make us feel uneasy looks well done. It enhances the immersion.
