EPISODE REVIEWS

Very funny episode with lots of drama, which made it even more interesting.

It's one of the best narrative execution of social commentary during Taisho-era. The westernization influence in Japan with its strict traditional values clashing, which also includes generational clash as well as misogyny in society that doesn't exaggerate its impact but also place weight on how little women can be given an opportunity or to be heard. The soft, innocence romance where one man represent growth from backward value, and another being an absolute green flag by being supportive to his love interest's passion.

The events in this episode had me laughing so hard honestly, Koume's life is just one big misunderstanding! Plus, I absolutely adore the sweet, cute scenes.
