EPISODE REVIEWS
She has been finally been freed from her torture.Although it was a flashback, it was nice to get a conclusion to what happened during the last episode and an immediate explanation of its consequences. We finally get a closure regarding Fudo's schemes and we get shown once again that the Kazanaris (except Yatsuhiro) are built different. Fudo did not need to do all that during his fights.I really liked that they showed how devoted Fudo is to his country and the traditionalist that he is too. Normally one would expect a more modern weapon, but he fights with a katana and a world war 2 era weapon.
This episode features two exceptionally well-executed battles, both visually and in terms of their significance to the story. We see Tsubasa forced to reconcile with her power and take action after her recent decisions. The pacing is quite fast, making it entertaining and very enjoyable, and it continues to develop the plot. The season finale is definitely approaching, and it shows.
