Symphogear XV

Actually life changing ending. This episode is actually peak fiction. We (finally) throw hands with Shem-ha and deal with the aftermath. Hibiki's dad might be a lot of negative things depending on the viewer, but he was definitely right with a blessing and a curse being different sides of the same coin. The episode has some crazy fan service by showing us people from the previous season (including the real hero Dr Ver), which is truly a show of affection for everyone who has watched until the end.

Notice how it took a literal god to stop Carol, that's why she's the goat. You know it's serious when the ending plays at the beginning of the episode. I live for the Carol moments so this episode was a gift for me. Yggdrasil already did its thing around the world so it's time to save it. The final dialogues of the episode reference something from the first season, and that's elite ball knowledge if you caught it.

Wake up the climax is upon us. Nice lore dump episode that combines it with extra action, something that Symphogear excels at. Chris mentions it but the episode pretty much makes brute force look cool. I thought that Vanessa was just making things up about Airgetlam back then but it was actually true. Also it was nice to see one of my favorite G songs being used again.

I really love how the blades of zababa can bring the craziest contraptions and it will always make sense. Tsubasa has officially been freed from her torture arc and Noble Red got a buff to deal with the Amalgam gap. Nice way to set what to expect during the next episode(s).

She has been finally been freed from her torture. Although it was a flashback, it was nice to get a conclusion to what happened during the last episode and an immediate explanation of its consequences. We finally get a closure regarding Fudo's schemes and we get shown once again that the Kazanaris (except Yatsuhiro) are built different. Fudo did not need to do all that during his fights. I really liked that they showed how devoted Fudo is to his country and the traditionalist that he is too. Normally one would expect a more modern weapon, but he fights with a katana and a world war 2 era weapon.

Oh hey a break from the perpetual Tsubasa torture. Nice to see my favorite murderer of miracles back, she's so goated that she didn't even take a step back to fend Noble Red off, just built different. It was also good to see that the "oh I toy with machinery during my free time" that Elfnein mentioned a few episodes ago was actually relevant. A fight scene with a Nana Mizuki song as bgm will always be welcomed, and the pay off and cliffhanger after it was incredible.

I have a lot of complains about GX, like, it's definitely my least favorite symphogear season. But I loved both Carol and the Autoscorers A LOT, so it's nice to see them back one last time. It's also nice to see more lore about Maria's song since we never got told in previous seasons anything else that wasn't "yeah it's from my childhood".

The never ending Tsubasa torture continues. More of a lore episode that gives us some explanations after the bomb that was the previous episode. It's nice to see how we bring back things from previous seasons like that one flashback to G and the chateau still being around. The absolute goat, Shinji Ogawa, shows once more that he has incredible talent for ninja arts and that in my opinion could fight Noises without a gear (ofc if they didn't vaporize humans with contact)

The Tsubasa torture season continues. I would've liked if the "damn the government is interfering with us" plot had continued a bit further (maybe one extra episode) but it was good while it lasted. We finally get some deserved Noble Red background story and some well deserved rest, albeit short. I really like that given the situation at Tsubasa's live we got a flashback with parallels to season 1.

CINEMA

We are 4 episodes in so I can already start talking about the character songs I think. Maria's is probably top 2 for me because something will happen later Seeing the alchemy gang from AXZ actually return for something was awesome (although the Amalgam doesn't look as good as the Ignite Modules). This season now introduces another enemy, the government.

Welcome to the Tsubasa torture season, in which each episode suffering builds character. I love that we spent pretty much most of the episode with fight scenes. I am a big fan of the songs and have even added them to the workout playlist in the past (yes they are that good). Igalima and Shul Shagana being related to the same deity allows for Shirabe and Kirika to do crazy stuff like the contraption that they made during the fight.

であります/5 Oh hey another concert surely this ti— No, third time is NOT the charm we all knew it would happen. It has been a bit over 10 years and I still don't like Kiri's transformation scene I'm sorry she does not need to do all that.

Scream if you love Symphogear Pretty much half of the episode repeats the formula of the last three seasons of giving us an insane battle paired with a Nana Mizuki song, which will never be a bad thing. Taking advantage of Hibiki losing consciousness to show stuff that had already happened was an awesome idea.

Final de franquicia que lo cumple todo. Carol quemando sus últimos recuerdos, Miku con un Symphogear propio por primera vez y Hibiki diciéndole a un dios lo que le va a hacer. El anime se despide siendo exactamente lo que siempre fue: imposiblemente épico y con el corazón en la mano.

Noble Red hace lo impensable en el momento menos esperado. Carol versus Shem-Ha en la Tierra mientras el equipo lucha por sobrevivir en la luna. Batallas en paralelo, sacrificios que duelen y una despedida que no pediste sentir tan fuerte.

En la luna y sin tiempo que perder. Tsubasa y Maria descubren la verdad detrás de la Maldición de Balal y el plan real de Shem-Ha. Noble Red peleando junto al equipo contra drones de seguridad es algo que no esperabas ver.

Noble Red regresa más fuerte y más desesperada que nunca. Shem-Ha levanta Yggdrasil y el mundo empieza a sentirse sin salida. Las batallas son brutales y el equipo apenas logra sobrevivir. El anime entra en su recta final con todo encima.

Fudo se quita la máscara y el episodio no te da tiempo de procesar nada. Tsubasa es controlada contra su voluntad, Hibiki en arresto domiciliario y Maria haciendo lo que nadie más podía hacer. Caótico, intenso y con un par de golpes emocionales que no esperabas.

El episodio más importante de la temporada. Carol versus Noble Red, las Climax Songs regresan y Hibiki llega al final solo para descubrir algo que no querías ver. Visualmente el pico de la franquicia entera.
