Kirito slamming himself against that invisible wall near the top of the World Tree truly made me feel the raw, overwhelming desperation he had for Asuna. It was shocking to see him so utterly on the brink, and it made me really understand just how deeply that single goal had consumed him, pushing him past all his limits.
